EFY Viet Nam is honored to be awarded a certificate of registration to provide e-contract authentication services by the Ministry of Industry and Trade

On the morning of June 15 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy) held a ceremony to award the Certificate of Registration to provide e-contract authentication services. EFY Vietnam was honored to participate as one of the units to receive the License to register for e-contract authentication services.

The role of Digital Transformation is extremely vital for the economic development of the country in this day and age. Developing and applying e-contracts in society is a crucial goal in the Government's digital transformation plan issued in Decision No. 411/QD-TTg/2022, thus approves the national strategy for digital economic development and digital society by 2025. According to the promulgated plan, the government's target is set that 80% of enterprises will have applied e-contracts by 2023 and the number is expected to reach 100% by 2025.

After the Government issued Decree No. 85/2021/ND-CP dated September 25, 2021 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 52/2013/ND-CP on e-commerce; in which details the order and procedures for granting registration to organizations providing e-contract authentication services (Certified eContract Authority - CeCA), from September 2021 till now, the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy has received 26 official letters to register to provide services from businesses.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy - Mrs. Le Hoang Oanh, congratulated the units for their efforts to be granted a registration certificate to provide e-contract authentication services. These units have been accompanying the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy to make important contributions to improving the efficiency of online transactions, protecting the confidentiality and integrity of information, as well as creating safe and reliable business environment in the digital economy

Director Le Hoang Oanh shared, "Vietnam's e-contract development axis" solution is a "bridge" for organizations providing e-contract authentication services with e-identification and authentication solutions, timestamps, digital signatures, cross-identifiers, …. to help authenticate contracts quickly and effectively".

In today's ceremony, after a period of support and guidance on procedural, legal and technical standards of the service, 5 units were appraised by the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy for meeting the requirements of receiving a certificate of registration to provide electronic contract authentication services. 5 units were eligible to be granted including VNPT, VNPAY, MISA, SAVIS DIGITAL and EFY Viet Nam.

Representative of EFY Vietnam - CEO Hoang Van Thuan shared: “EFY-CeCA service for e-contract authentication, developed by EFY Vietnam is based on the e-contract service. EFY-eContract is built with the philosophy of "Remove hand-signed signature – Replace by digital signature" and has been practically deployed for more than 3 years nationwide. The service has initially brought satisfaction to customers who have trusted and pioneered using EFY Vietnam's e-contract service. Once completed, the EFY E-Contract service has fully met the conditions of the CeCA Electronic Contract Authentication Service."

This is an important milestone to affirm that EFY Vietnam's e-contract products and services are qualified to become an e-contract authentication service and are legally recognized by law.
